About The Author
Paul J Strom
Paul J. Strom, writing under the name Jerry Strom, is a Vietnam veteran, devoted Christian, and lifelong advocate for those society often overlooks. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, and educated at Beloit College, his journey has taken him from the battlefields of Southeast Asia to Sarasota, Florida, where he’s spent decades engaging with his community through prayer groups, mentorship, and outreach to the homeless. His experiences—personal, spiritual, and professional—shape a deeply empathetic worldview that sees every individual as worthy of dignity and grace.
A husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Strom finds joy in family, faith, and service. Whether leading a Wednesday morning Bible study, handing out care packages at the bus station, or listening to the stories of veterans and those without shelter, he lives his calling sincerely. Through Hope Resurrected, Strom channels his life’s experiences into a mission: to raise awareness, offer spiritual insight, and advocate for practical solutions to homelessness, particularly among those who’ve served.
